The Cabins on the Meadows:
The Homestead Cabin:
Built originally as a cow barn in about 1870 this cabin was “home’ for the Brown Family from 1929 thru 1949 and two generations of Bitterrooter’s were raised here. The cabin has two very comfortable full beds with memory foam and a single sofa-bed. There is a full bath, deck on the front and a beautiful pair of apple trees with a hammock in between. It comes with a small refrigerator, microwave, and full coffee service. There is a BBQ between cabins for shared use. This cabin is only open between April 1st and November 1st. Great for families with lots of running room for kids and pets on the big lawns. Pond, pasture, meadows, trees and a great “coulee” to explore. Wildlife abounds. Season rate: 145.00 per night, Off-Season Rate: $115.00 per night.
The Montana Cabin:
Built in the year 2000 this is the most popular of the two cabins for couples or small families, especially for extended stays. There is a queen bed with memory foam and a single sofa-bed. The Montana Cabin has a small living room, a shower only in the bathroom, and a full kitchen with everything needed for a stay of a day or many weeks. The big front deck looks out over the meadows and the woods. Very comfortable and is open year round. BBQ between cabins with picnic table. Pets welcome of course. Both cabins have flat screen T.V.’s that are DVD players only. Lots of movies to pick from. Season rate: 145.00 per night, Off-Season Rate: $115.00 per night.
